Our philosophy at Housemate Group (the “Group”) is to contribute to social development focusing on living environments, particularly in relation to management of and intermediation for rental apartments as an expert on management of rental apartments to secure the owner’s property and by providing residents with satisfactory rental accommodation.

 

Housemate Partners Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) acknowledges the importance of personal information that the Company and the Group handle, ensures all employees including officers comply with laws, ordinances and other standard concerning protection of personal information, sets out the following privacy policy consistent with JIS Q 15001, and endeavors to protect personal information in order to accomplish the above philosophy. In addition, we make efforts to handle any information from our clients in a manner that is consistent with the privacy policy to protect their personal information.

 

We will establish and operate in an appropriate manner personal information protection management systems consistent with the Japanese Industrial Standards “Personal information protection management systems - Requirements” (JIS Q 15001) in order to comply with laws, ordinances, guidance set out by Japanese government and other standards concerning protection of personal information with respect to personal information handled in all business and personal information of our employees and other staff.

 

When acquiring personal information, we will make the purpose of use and the possibility of the necessity to provide information clear in advance. Then we will use the information appropriately, within the scope of such purpose with the customer’s consent and take measures not to use the information outside of its set purposes.

 

We will use the collated personal information within the scope of the customer’s consent. Unless otherwise set out by law, ordinance or other regulation, we will never disclose or provide personal information to any third party without a customer’s consent.

 

We will endeavor to prevent the disclosure of, loss of or damage to customers’ personal information that we have obtained or to rectify any situation that occurs, and improve management regulations of the Company and each company within the Group to securely keep under strict management the information that has been collected so that no issues occur.

 

We will respond to any request or complaints by a customer to disclose, amend, deletion, or suspend use of personal information without delay.

 

We will carry out appropriate reviews of the personal information protection management systems from time to time and strive for continued improvement.
